Reading parents can find out about massage therapy and support services at special event

Autism Berkshire is delighted to be able to give parents and carers of autistic children living in Reading the opportunity to hear about support available from Brighter Futures for Children, which now runs children’s services for the borough council, and to meet specialist massage and sensory therapist Sophie Webster.

Sophie, who works with autistic pupils at schools in Reading, will talk about sensory differences and massage and discuss techniques parents can use at home.

She will be joined by Jenna Redmond, Reading’s autism advisor for families, who will talk about the advice, training and support she provides to parents.

There will be plenty of time to ask them questions and to chat to other parents and carers. Please note that parents and carers whose children attend school in Reading are also welcome to come along.

Drop-in advice about autism and all our services from members of the Autism Berkshire family support team.

We would appreciate it if you could register in advance, so we have an idea of how many people to expect, but do come along if you can.
