Slough-based Asperger Syndrome/Autistic Spectrum Disorder Project
The Slough Learning Disability Partnership Board has recognised that many children and adults with Asperger Syndrome/Autistic Spectrum Disorder and their families do not receive the necessary support. It has recognised the importance of gathering local data before any effective planning can take place. This also includes reviewing training needs of key staff. The Slough Learning Disability Partnership Board has commissioned BAS to lead this project.
Helen Harris is undertaking this work on behalf of BAS. The project will run for 6 months (March to September 2008).
Helen is keen to hear from anyone with views on the service gaps in Slough for children and adults with Asperger Syndrome/Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Tel (07731 855377).
