Welcome to the Berkshire Autistic Society

BAS Berkshire Autistic Society is an established charity providing comprehensive services for all ages of people with autism, their families, carers and professionals working in the field.

We are currently in the process of changing our name and logo! Our new name will be Autism Berkshire in line with the website and email addresses. For full details please see the 'News' section below.

Our services include a daily helpline, regular newsletters, social and leisure activities for children and adults, plus regular training events and parent workshops. With our dedicated staff and volunteer network, we continually strive to work in partnership to improve the services available to those affected by autism.

It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Simon Dunn last week. He had been battling cancer unbeknown to many people for over 7 years. Simon was a BAS trustee for over three years until his resignation last summer. He gave his time professionally and willingly. His business experience complemented the skills of the other BAS professionals and trustees and he was a great supporter of all the good work that was done by the charity for those affected by autism. He completed a number of walking and climbing challenges alongside his fellow trustees to raise considerable funds for BAS He will be much missed by his family and friends.
