NAS Family Seminar: Managing Anger THATCHAM

Autism Berkshire is pleased to present the National Autistic Society Family seminar on Managing Anger.

This FREE course is suitable for parents and carers of children and young people with autism spectrum conditions, or whose children are on the waiting list for a Berkshire CAMHS autism assessment.

It looks at distressed behaviour and meltdowns in children with autism, how to cope and how to help children to understand and communicate feelings

The workshop will be delivered by Amanda Walker, our Home Visit worker in West Berkshire.

Companion seminars on Understanding Autism and Sensory Needs will be available at the same venue on Wednesday, January 30, and Wednesday, February 27, respectively. Please book separately for these.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided, however you must bring your own packed lunch.

  • For this series of three seminars we are using a new venue, which is a short walk from Thatcham railway station, to make it easier for people without access to a car to attend. The station is served by local trains on the route between Bedwyn, Hungerford, Newbury, Theale and Reading.
