NAS Family Seminar: Meeting Sensory Needs BRACKNELL

Autism Berkshire is pleased to present this National Autistic Society Family Seminar on Meeting Sensory Needs.

This course is suitable for parents and carers of children and young people with autism spectrum conditions, or whose children are on the waiting list for a Berkshire CAMHS autism assessment.

It looks at sensory systems and how they work, how autistic people may process sensory information differently and have different sensory experiences, and strategies to help with sensory needs.

If more than one parent or carer from your family, such as a grandparent, wants to attend, please book a separate ticket for them.

There will also be companion seminars at the same venue about Understanding Autism on Friday, September 13, and Managing Anger on Friday, November 8. Tickets for these must be booked separately.

Refreshments are provided, however you must bring your own packed lunch.

  • Please note that this seminar is intended for parents and carers living in the Borough of Bracknell Forest. Please see our website for information about our courses in other parts of Berkshire.
