NAS Family Seminar: Meeting Sensory Needs SLOUGH

Autism Berkshire is pleased to present the National Autistic Society Family seminar on Meeting Sensory Needs.

This course is suitable for parents and carers of children and young people with autism spectrum conditions, or whose children are on the waiting list for a Berkshire CAMHS autism assessment.

It looks at sensory systems and how they work, how autistic people may process sensory information differently and have different sensory experiences, and strategies to help with sensory needs.

There will be companion seminars about Understanding Autism at the same venue on Friday, April 26, and about Managing Anger on Friday, June 14. Places for these must be booked separately.

Refreshments are provided, however you must bring your own packed lunch.

  • Please note this workshop is intended for parents and carers who live in the Borough of Slough. Please see our website for details of workshops in other parts of Berkshire.
