What can we do?
- We offer information and advice to people on the autistic spectrum, to their parents/carers and to professionals
- We offer non-judgemental support and a 'listening ear'
- We signpost to other services and sources of help
Our Helpline service is:
- Confidential
- Open to everyone
- Open 10.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday
- Available by phone or email or you can make an appointment to visit us – contact details above
Our confidentiality policy in relation to the Helpline:
- Information of a personal and private nature will be treated sensitively and remain confidential within BAS. This means that the information will not be given to anyone outside BAS without your permission
- Records of calls, emails or meetings will be taken with your permission and will be kept in files which will be securely stored
- A copy of the BAS Confidentiality Policy can be made available on request

- BAS activities are widely publicised in order to encourage those who need support to obtain it, and for those who give support to be better informed.
