Many thanks to Basingstoke Lady Golfers

Well done, the lady golfers from Basingstoke for raising £1240 for Berkshire Autistic Society.  Jean Bacon, Lady Captain for 2011 chose BAS as her charity of the Year and, under her leadership, raffles and book sales raised over £1000 for the charity.  Here she is handing over the cheque to Hayley Edwards, the Society Manager, alongside her daughter Louise and grandson, Marcus.   Jean has another young four year old grandson, Scott, who has just been diagnosed with autism, so understands the needs of families and their children, and recognises the support BAS offers to often bewildered parents.
