Reading Half Marathon 2013
The Reading Half Marathon is soon approaching, just two months to go to the race on
Sunday 17th March 2013.
Now to the dreaded question - Yes, we are doing it again! And your support would be very gratefully received! For every volunteer we have, BAS receives £10 plus free places in the Marathon, which we are giving out in exchange for fundraising - If you would like a running place, please email:

Last year the Berkshire Autistic Society (BAS) had 25 volunteers giving out 'goodie bags’ to the runners just past the finish line at Madejski Stadium - it was lots of fun and a successful event for BAS raising over £6,000 for our Charity.
Our volunteer list is very short at the moment, so if you are available and would like to join us for a fun packed day, please email me! We are looking for 20 helpers on the day, so please ask your friends and family if they would like to come along and help as well. Food and hot drinks are provided; all you need to do is turn up in warm clothing and join in on the fun.
