Running for BAS

We take care of our runners at BAS!

Berkshire Autistic Society offer our runners the support of a qualified British Athletics Running Leader, Jason Lamb, who is available by email during the training period and will run group running sessions.

Advice on diet and technique are there to help first-timers and those who may not have run a race for while. We'll help you through the aches and pains and support you when motivation hits a low point!
The help is there if you need it; the benefit is that a real team spirit develops and by the time race day arrives you are running for each other not simply your chosen cause.

If you want to take on a challenge contact the BAS office on 0118 9594594 and ask for Christine or email contact@autismberkshire.org.uk

Reading Half Marathon

Windsor Half Marathon
This is another growing event in Berkshire, which is an ideal opportunity for those wishing to raise fund for BAS to do so while being part of something very special. It is a smaller event than Reading Half Marathon, but it has a touch of something special when you run the Long Walk from Windsor Castle!

Run a 10k!

If you are not ready for the 13.1miles of a half marathon, try one of the many 10k races that are organised in Berkshire. You have the opportunity to raise funds, but also raise awareness. It all makes a difference! The good news is the same support and advice is available for 10k runners too!
