Trustees and Staff

Berkshire Autistic Society is managed by a committee of nine, including three trustees. The Chairman is Malcolm Kempton who can be contacted through the office.

The charity is a company limited by guarantee and registered with the Charity Commission. The Annual Report and Accounts for the last financial year can be found here: ACCOUNTS

There are ten members of staff all working part-time.   The Society is managed by Hayley Edwards with Joanna Thomas as the Fundraising Manager.  BAS offices are near the centre of Reading.

We also have a Development Worker based in Windsor and Maidenhead, working with adults with an ASD.

Many of our staff and committee have children, some now grown up, on the autistic spectrum, which enables BAS to provide a service sensitive to the needs of its members.

Our staff are supported by several regular volunteers, as well as many other volunteers who help out on an ad hoc basis. If you would like to volunteer for BAS, please call the office or complete the Volunteering Application Form
