This social group for autistic adults and their parents/carers, which has been running since 2010, meets twice a month, usually on Monday evenings.
Every other meeting normally takes place at The Outlook pub, 76/78A Kings Road, Reading, RG1 3BJ, from 6pm-9pm. Venues for the other meetings vary and can include bowling arcades, restaurants or walks.
For more information about the group and how to get involved, email adult.support@autismberkshire.org.uk or call 01189 594 594 (option 2) and leave a voicemail with your contact details.
Please note that due to a recent increase in membership, we are now operating a waiting list to join the group.
Due to the need to book tables at The Outlook and other venues, members are requested to tell Kevin Jackson in advance by email that they plan to attend sessions.
Forthcoming sessions:
Monday, June 2: The Outlook.
Saturday, June 21: Summer Walk. Meet at the main (town centre) entrance to Reading railway station at 11am to catch a train to Theale, then walk to The Cunning Man pub at Burghfield Bridge for lunch. Return to Reading by bus.
- The 197 Club’s activities are supported by the Greenham Trust’s Peter Baker Grants fund.
