Places can now be booked for pre-assessment workshops in Reading and Bracknell for parents and carers of children on the CAMHS waiting list for an ASD Pathway assessment.
The sessions are open to those looking after children aged five and above and offer tailored advice and strategies, as well as information about the assessment process and what happens if a child does not receive an autism spectrum diagnosis.
The workshops in Reading take place at Autism Berkshire’s office at 7 Richfield Place, off Richfield Avenue, from 10am to 12.30pm on May 17, July 12, September 14 and November 8.
The sessions in Bracknell are at Bracknell Open Learning Centre, in Rectory Lane, from 9.30am to noon on May 17, July 5, September 20 and November 8.
We will also be offering more sessions in Slough, West Berkshire, Wokingham and for Windsor & Maidenhead, with dates to follow soon.
