Gentlemen make distinctly generous donation to Autism Berkshire

Autism Berkshire has received a distinctly above average donation from a group of friends from Reading who call themselves the League of Distinctly Average Gentlemen.

The League’s president Paul Skander and vice-president Brett Davies called into Autism Berkshire’s office in Reading during our Autism Awareness Week tea party on Thursday, April 7, to present a cheque for £416.

The aims of the group, whose members meet monthly in Reading, are to spread gentlemanly conduct throughout the world and raise money for charitable donations through their subscriptions.

Autism Berkshire’s chief executive officer, Jane Stanford-Beale, said: “We were delighted when the League got in touch and told us how much they were donating. It will help to pay for our vital work supporting people living with autism across the county.”
