Parents and carers living in West Berkshire can now benefit from our popular pre-assessment workshops.
The first of a series of sessions takes place on Monday, June 20, at the Calcot, Theale and Area Children’s Centre, in Curtis Road, Calcot, from 10am to 12.30pm.
The workshops offer information for parents and carers of children aged 5+ living in West Berkshire who are on the waiting list for a CAMHS ASD Pathway assessment.
They offer information about the ASD Pathway assessment process, tailored advice and coping strategies. They will also explore what happens if a child does not receive an autism spectrum diagnosis. The sessions are also an opportunity to meet other parents who are in the same situation.
Further workshops will be held in Calcot on Mondays July 18, September 19 and November 21 this year and January 23 and March 20 next year. They are funded by the Newbury and District NHS Clinical Commissioning Group.
