New youth club on way for Wokingham

Autism Berkshire is launching a youth club in Wokingham as we continue to expand the range of leisure activities for children available outside Reading.

The new club will be open to children aged between eight and 17 living in the Borough of Wokingham who have a diagnosis of an autism spectrum condition, including Asperger syndrome, or are on the CAMHS waiting list for an ASD Pathway assessment, and their siblings.

It will be led by Garrick Rahal, one of our team of support workers, who runs the Bracknell CAYP Group for children and teenagers and the Bracknell adult social group.

Details of a venue and dates for meetings are currently being finalised but parents and carers can register their children for places in advance by emailing admin@autismberkshire.org.uk or calling 01189 594 594.
