Places can now be booked for our autumn programme of free relaxation classes for children with autism and their parents and carers in Bracknell, Slough and Windsor & Maidenhead.
Our qualified relaxation teacher, Katia Cornwall, is making some changes to the format of the classes for children and teenagers aged 5 to 17, with the emphasis on helping them to develop strategies that they can use to relax at times of stress.
Some one-to-one tuition time will also be available as part of the classes for children and teenagers, on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents will be notified of timings when they book places.
The deep relaxation classes for parents will continue to put the emphasis on easing stress and helping to improve participants’ outlook on life.
Katia uses a variety of techniques in the classes, including breathing, body movements, mindfulness and visualisation.
