Reading Borough Council’s Special Educational Needs Team is asking all children and families living in Reading, who have a finalised Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan, to take part in a survey on the process.
The team wants to hear about people’s experiences of going through the EHC Needs Assessment or the conversion of a previous Statement of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Learning Difficulty Assessment (LDA) into an EHC Plan.
They are particularly keen to get feedback from children and young people as they work on ways to improve and develop the process in future.
EHC Plans show how education, health and social care services for a child or young person will be delivered as a package and explain how to achieve the outcomes sought.
Everyone who completes the online survey and gives their email address will be automatically entered into a draw. Three winners, picked at random, will each receive a family ticket for the Hexagon Theatre.
