We still have free places available for parents and carers in Wokingham at a workshop on Supporting Teenagers with Autism which is taking place this Thursday, February 16.
Led by Dr Liz Dawes, a clinical psychologist at the Centre for Autism at the University of Reading, the workshop will provide advice on communication, social skills and mental health.
The session is for parents and carers of children aged 11+ with Asperger syndrome and high-functioning autism, who attend a mainstream school and were diagnosed while at nursery or primary school.
If you would like to attend the workshop, please call Claire at the Autism Berkshire office on 01189 594 594 by 4pm on Wednesday or email admin@autismberkshire.org.uk. Those attending will need to complete a registration form in advance so that the session can be tailored to their needs.
We are running more Supporting Teenagers with Autism workshops in Bracknell, Hungerford, Slough and Windsor during March. Click here for more details and to register for free places.
