Parents and carers still have time to book for the last few of our current runs of Pre-Assessment and Supporting Teenagers with Autism workshops later this month.
We have free places available at Pre-Assessment Workshops for parents and carers with children on the Berkshire CAMHS waiting list for an autism diagnostic assessment at the following locations:
Windsor: Monday, March 13, 9.30am-noon.
Reading: Tuesday, March 14, 10am-12.30pm.
Slough: Tuesday, March 14, and Monday, March 28, both from 10am-12.30pm.
Calcot: Monday, March 20, 10am-12.30pm.
Wokingham: Monday, March 27, 10.30am -1pm.

Our Supporting Teenagers with Autism workshops are for parents and carers of children with autism aged 11+ who were diagnosed while at primary school and now attend mainstream secondary schools and are led by staff from the Centre for Autism at the University of Reading.
We have two workshops this month, open to parents living in the Bracknell Forest and Windsor & Maidenhead council areas, as follows:
Bracknell: Saturday, March 18, 10am to 1pm.
Windsor: Thursday, March 30, 10am to 1pm.

We also have free places for parents and carers at a Disability Living Allowance workshop at the Autism Berkshire office in Reading next Monday, March 13, with our Benefits Adviser Kevin Jackson providing help to complete applications for this benefit for children diagnosed with autism spectrum conditions.
Another DLA workshop will take place on Monday, April 10.
