Parents and carers living in the Bracknell Forest area can now register for free places at Autism Seminars for Families courses taking place in June and July.
The courses, developed by the National Autistic Society, proved very popular with parents and carers when we ran them in Bracknell and Windsor last year and earlier this year.
Once again we will be offering three seminars – Understanding Autism, Managing Anger and Sensory Needs, as follows:
Understanding Autism: Wednesday, June 7.
Managing Anger: Wednesday, June 21.
Meeting Sensory Needs: Wednesday, July 12.
These workshops will take place at Bracknell Open Learning Centre, in Rectory Lane, running from 9.30am to 2.30pm. Tea and coffee will be provided but please bring a packed lunch.
Parents from Reading, Wokingham and West Berkshire can also register now for places at two sets of NAS Autism Seminars for Families that we will be running at the Autism Berkshire office in Reading this summer and in the autumn.
The first set of seminars in Reading will be held in the evenings, to help parents who have work commitments during the daytime.
Please note that places must be booked in advance for all these workshops and demand is expected to be high, so early booking is advised.

We will be holding further NAS Autism Seminars for Families sessions, for parents and carers living in Slough and the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead, later this year or early in 2018.
If you want further information or have any questions, please call the Autism Berkshire office on 01189 594 594 or email admin@autismberkshire.org.uk
These NAS Family Seminar courses are funded by an NHS Partnership Development grant from the Berkshire East Federation of NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups.
