Parents and carers living in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead can now register for free places at Autism Seminars for Families courses taking place in the autumn.
The courses, developed by the National Autistic Society, proved very popular with parents and carers when we ran them in Windsor recently.
Once again we will be offering three seminars – Understanding Autism, Managing Anger and Sensory Needs, as follows:
Understanding Autism: Wednesday, September 13.
Meeting Sensory Needs: Wednesday, November 1.
Managing Anger: Wednesday, November 29.
These workshops will take place at Windsor Youth & Community Centre, in Alma Road, running from 9.30am to 2.30pm. Tea and coffee will be provided but please bring a packed lunch.
Parents from Reading, Wokingham, West Berkshire and Bracknell can also register now for places at NAS Autism Seminars for Families taking place this summer and in the autumn.
Please note that places must be booked in advance for all these workshops and demand is expected to be high, so early registration is advised.
