Is your child on the Berkshire CAMHS waiting list for an autism assessment? Do you want advice on what support is available while you wait for an appointment? We still have places available at free pre-assessment workshops for parents and carers in towns across Berkshire over the next couple of weeks.
They run for two-and-a-half hours and are as follows:
- Friday, July 7: Slough, starts 10am.
- Monday, July 10: Windsor, starts 10am
- Tuesday, July 11: Reading, starts 10am
- Monday, July 17, Wokingham, starts 10.30am
- Tuesday, July 18, Bracknell, starts 9.30am
- Wednesday, July 19, Hungerford, starts 10.30am
The sessions will include a look at autism and sensory issues; strategies to help communication, sensory and behaviour issues; information on what happens in the assessment; and signposting for further help if you receive a diagnosis and what to do if you do not receive a diagnosis.

If you would like further information about these or any other workshops that Autism Berkshire provides, or have difficulties booking online, please email admin@autismberkshire.org.uk or call the office on 01189 594 594.
Our pre-assessment workshops are provided in conjunction with the Berkshire CAMHS ASD Pathway team and are funded by the Berkshire East and Berkshire West federations of NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups.
