Support our bid for support from the Aviva Community Fund to run relaxation classes for children

Autism Berkshire is seeking votes from the public to help us win a £5,000 grant from the Aviva Community Fund 2017 to run relaxation classes in Slough for children with autism.

They would build on similar sessions we have run recently in Slough, Windsor and Bracknell, which proved popular with children and their families.

If we are successful in the competition, the classes will use yoga, relaxation, movement and breathing techniques to help the children to relax, reduce anxiety, increase their self-esteem and improve communication and concentration.

They also give the children’s parents the chance of a short break from their caring responsibilities.

Only projects which win the most votes will become finalists in the competition, so all the support that we receive in the ballot is vital – please encourage all your family and friends to support us as well.

Voting is now open and closes on Tuesday, November 21, so there is no time to waste if you want to help us.

CLICK HERE for more details of our project and to register to vote. It just takes a few minutes to do this.

Once you are signed up, you will receive 10 votes – please cast them all for Autism Berkshire.
