Autistic adults and parents and family members who act as carers to people with autism living in Slough will be able to get advice about benefits applications at a special drop-in session next Wednesday, February 14.
Our benefits expert Kevin Jackson will be available to offer advice about eligibility and applications or appeals, at the YES Shop, at 61 Queensmere Observatory Shopping Centre, in Slough High Street, between 10am and 2pm.
Kevin can help with:
- Carer’s Allowance
- Disability Living Allowance
- Employment & Support Allowance
- Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Personal Independence Payment
- Universal Credit
Advice from Kevin about benefits applications and appeals at the YES Shop is usually only available by appointment on Wednesdays. Appointments must be booked in advance by calling the Autism Berkshire office on 01189 594 594 or emailing admin@autismberkshire.org.uk
Our regular weekly Wednesday drop-in autism advice session at the YES Shop, from 10am to 2pm, will resume on Wednesday, February 21, after taking a half-term break next week.
Please note that these services are only available to residents of the Borough of Slough, as part of the Slough SPACE project.
People living in other parts of Berkshire can book appointments for advice from Kevin at our office in Reading.
