As a result of the postponement of our NAS Autism Seminar for Families about Sensory Needs, due to take place in Slough last Friday, a few free places have opened up for the rearranged date, Friday, March 16.
The seminar will take now place at the YES Shop in the Queensmere shopping centre from 9.30am to 2.30pm on Friday next week, March 16.
Topics covered during the seminar will include:
- A look at sensory systems and how they work
- How people with autism may process sensory information differently
- How children with autism may have different sensory experiences
- Strategies to help with sensory needs.
Please note that due to NHS funding rules, places at this seminar are only open to parents and carers who live in the Slough Borough Council area.
