Autism Berkshire’s next free Positive Thinking workshops for parents and carers of autistic children will feature a special session on relaxation techniques.
Qualified yoga and relaxation teacher Katia Cornwall, who has run relaxation classes for parents and children for us previously, will demonstrate a range of ways to ease stress and anxiety.
The workshop will also look at ways to enjoy the moment, see the positives in life and to set realistic goals for yourself or those you support.
The workshop takes place at RISC (Reading International Solidarity Centre) in London Street, Reading, on Thursday, July 12, from 10.30am to 1pm.
RISC is close to the Queen’s Road and Oracle Centre car parks and a short walk town centre bus stops and Reading railway station.
The workshops are open to all parents and carers – including grandparents and other relatives – of autistic children who live in Berkshire.
Please note that free places at our Positive Thinking workshops must be booked in advance.
