2020 Henley Choir Festival raises funds for Autism Berkshire

We are delighted to announce that Autism Berkshire will be the charity beneficiary of the 11th annual Henley Choir Festival, which takes place later this month.

The festival, featuring a number of local choirs, takes place at the town’s St Mary’s Church, pictured above, in Hart Street, on the evening of Saturday, January 25, at 7pm.

In the first half of the programme, each of the choirs taking part will perform a piece that they have chosen.

The choirs will join forces after the interval for the second half of the programme, which will be a performance of Joseph Haydn’s The Creation Part 1.

There will be a short presentation about Autism Berkshire’s work during the interval.

It costs £5 to purchase audience tickets for the festival and to take part as a singer.

We are looking for volunteers to help take a collection at the event. If you are able to help us with this, please send an email to sarah.brown@autismberkshire.org.uk or telephone Sarah at the Autism Berkshire office on 01189 594 594.
