Trampolining sessions expand to include young adults

Autism Berkshire is launching extra trampolining classes in Bracknell and Reading for autistic teenagers and adults aged 14 to 25, thanks to a grant from Sport England.

Trampolining has a number of benefits for autistic people of all ages, from easing stress and anxiety and helping to improve coordination, balance and motor skills, to providing valuable exercise and improving overall fitness.

The sessions also provide opportunities to interact with other people in a supportive environment.

These new classes allow us to offer follow-on trampolining for people who become too old to attend our sessions for children funded by BBC Children in Need and will open up some places at those sessions for younger children who are on our waiting list.

The extra classes will take place at Crosfields School in Reading and Bracknell Trampoline Centre.

We currently have a number of places available at the new classes in Bracknell.

Classes in Reading are fully subscribed, but we are operating a waiting list for these.
