Free workshop with Cerebra offers help to access public services

Autism Berkshire is delighted to be able to present another free workshop about accessing public services for Berkshire parents and carers of children with disabilities, in conjunction with Cerebra, the charity for children with brain conditions, including autism.

We have provided two successful workshops in Reading led by Cerebra trainers in recent years and are now supporting an online Accessing Public Services Toolkit workshop taking place on Tuesday, April 27, from 10am to 12.30pm.

If you are struggling to secure support for a child with autism or a disability from local authorities, schools or the NHS and want to know about your rights and how to make your case for help you are entitled to, the course is packed with useful information.

It will look at strategies that parents and carers can use to secure the services that they need for their children and family and explain how the toolkit – which is available to download free of charge from the Cerebra website – can help them to do this.
