Friday Lunch Break makes a summer comeback

We are delighted to be able to invite parents and carers of autistic children and young people in Berkshire to join us for more free Friday Lunch Break online get-togethers from next week.

They proved popular during the lockdown in the first three months of this year with parents who enjoyed the chance to chat, share issues and ideas and get advice in a friendly and informal way.

Thanks to a grant from the Virgin Media O2 Together Fund, we will be running more Friday Lunch Breaks in the run-up to the school summer holidays and again when children go back to school in September.

if you have any questions about getting ready for the holidays or tips to share with other families, or just want a chance to chat, you are welcome to join a session.

The sessions will be hosted by Autism Berkshire family support worker Amanda Walker on Zoom between 12 noon and 1pm, starting next Friday, July 2, followed by sessions on Fridays July 9 and July 16. Dates for further sessions are being arranged.

If you can’t make it on the dot of noon, you are welcome to join in at any time during the session.

You can now register for free places at the following Friday Lunch Break sessions. Click the dates when you would like to attend to book a place – registration will close at 11.45am on the morning of each event:
