Friday Lunch Break will run until summer

Parents and carers of autistic children and young people in Berkshire will be able to continue to get instant advice and chat at our free Friday Lunch Break online get-togethers until the summer.

The Friday Lunch Break was launched during the coronavirus lockdown at the start of 2021 and proved so popular that we secured extra funding to run more sessions.

They give parents and carers an opportunity to chat, share issues and ideas and get advice in a friendly and informal setting.

Our family support worker Amanda Walker will be back online after Easter on Friday, April 29, with subsequent sessions running every other Friday from then until July 8.

If there are any autism-related issues you need advice about, you have helpful tips to share with other families or you just want a chance to take a break to relax and chat with other parents and carers, you are welcome to join a session.

All sessions take place online on Zoom between 12 noon and 1pm. If you can’t make it on the dot of noon, you are welcome to join in at any time during the session.

You can now register for free places at the following Friday Lunch Break sessions in 2022. Click on the links below to attend to book – registration will close at 11.59am on the morning of each event:
