We offer two free autism advice courses for parents and carers who live in the Bracknell Forest, Slough and Windsor & Maidenhead council areas, EarlyBird Plus and Teen Life (click the links for more details), which were developed by the National Autistic Society (NAS).
These evidence-based courses are suitable for parents and carers of autistic children aged 5 to 9 and 10 to 16 who already have an autism diagnosis or are on the Berkshire CAMHS waiting list for an autism assessment. They are led by Autism Berkshire family support workers, who are qualified to deliver NAS training.
If you would like more details or to request a free place on a forthcoming EarlyBird Plus or Teen Life course, please complete our online contact form, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01189 594 594 (option 1) and leave a voicemail message. Please include a daytime telephone number.
You can also get in touch with us using the details above to get advice about autism from our Helpline service and information about other support available for families with autistic children in East Berkshire.
