Find out about your rights to claim benefts and how to make a claim, plus information about employment advice and support and workplace rights.

Please note that these workshops are open to autistic young people and adults (aged 16+) who live in Berkshire, or who attend a college or university in the county, and their parents or carers – we regret that we are not able to offer advice to people from other areas, due to funding rules.

This online session will include detailed advice about claiming Universal Credit and Employment & Support Allowance (ESA) for those aged 16+, how to complete the application form, what supporting evidence to include when making a claim, and the appeals process.

It will also look at what employment advice and support is available and disabled people’s rights in the workplace.

Click here for more details and to register for free places at this workshop. Your booking confirmation will include details of how to join the session online using Zoom.

For more information about this workshop or support from our Benefits Service, email benefits@autismberkshire.org.uk or call 01189 594 594 (option 2) and leave a voicemail with your contact details. One of our advisers will call you back.

Information about Personal Independence Payment (PIP) for over-16s will be provided in an online workshop on Monday, January 11. Click here for details.

  • This workshop is supported by Reading Borough Council’s New Directions College adult learning and employment service.
