SUMMARY:Online workshop: Preparing for Adulthood
DESCRIPTION:This workshop aims to help the parents and carers of autistic a
 nd ADHD teenagers (aged 13 to 17) to prepare for and navigate the transiti
 on to adulthood and to support their young people with knowledge\, skills 
 and confidence.\n\nWe are planning to have a guest speaker to talk about s
 upported internships and answer questions at this session - more details t
 o follow.\n\nThe workshop is provided by the Berkshire West Autism &amp\; 
 ADHD Support Service for the parents and carers of autistic and ADHD teena
 gers who live in the Berkshire West NHS area (Reading\, Wokingham and West
  Berkshire) whether they have a diagnosis\, are waiting for a Berkshire CA
 MHS assessment\, or where autism is suspected\, and who are in mainstream 
 education or home-educated and do not have learning disabilities.\n\nFor m
