A free walk for autistic adults (aged 18+) in Bracknell’s South Hill Park with one of Dogs for Good’s community dogs – just 10 places are available, which must be booked in advance.
The charity provides animal assisted intervention (AAI) support to children and adults in the town with a range of additional needs, including autism, through a partnership with Bracknell Forest Council.
The walk is on Thursday, June 27, setting off from the rear of the arts centre building at 10am. It offers the opportunity to meet one of the charity’s friendly community dogs and their handler, along with Autism Berkshire’s senior adult autism support mentor Michelle Errington.
If you would like to book a place or have any questions about the walk, email adult.support@autismberkshire.org.uk or call 01189 594 594 (option 1) and leave a voicemail message.
