SUMMARY:Workshop for parents/carers of autistic adults: Sensory Differences
  and Executive Functioning
DESCRIPTION:This free interactive online workshop from the Berkshire Adult 
 Autism Support Service\, tailored for parents and family carers\, looks at
 :\n\n 	Sensory processing differences that are thought to affect at least 
 80% of autistic people and strengths and challenges that they may experien
 ce as a result.\n 	Executive functioning (planning and organising) thinkin
 g through what we need to do\, carrying out the task and remaining in cont
 rol of our emotions\, even if things change. It outlines ways to achieve b
 etter executive functioning\, including using mind maps\, decision trees a
 nd critical thinking\, along with problem-solving.\n\nIt includes tips and
  strategies that autistic people can use in daily life and social situatio
 ns.\n\nIt is open to parents and family carers of autistic adults who are 
 registered as patients with a GP surgery in Berkshire.\n\nClick here for
