Autism in Berkshire: Past and Present

This exhibition was created as part of the celebrations in 2015 of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Berkshire Autistic Society, now known as Autism Berkshire. Drawing on archives and personal experiences, it explores the differences between Victorian and Edwardian approaches to people living with what are today recognised as autism spectrum conditions and the support and services now available in Berkshire.

Autism in Berkshire: Past & Present was funded by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund
