Parents and carers applying for Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for children aged 16 or under with autism living in Berkshire can get expert advice at one of our DLA Workshops.
Led by our Benefits Adviser Kevin Jackson, the workshops explain what DLA is and how to claim it, as well as guidance on how to complete the application form and what to do if you are turned down.
These half-day workshops, which are free of charge, are held at our office in Reading. Forthcoming sessions run from 10am to 1pm on the following Mondays: January 16, February 13 and March 13.
All places must be booked in advance by calling the office on 01189 594 594 or emailing admin@autismberkshire.org.uk.
Parents and carers are asked to bring along their DLA application form and their child’s statement of an autism spectrum condition diagnosis to the workshops.
