Lego Event gives children chance to get creative during their summer break

We have another fantastic summer holiday activity for autistic children coming up next week – a Lego Event with expert brick artist Kevin Hall, of Brick Galleria, pictured above.

The event is at Emmer Green Youth & Community Centre in Reading this coming Friday, August 3.

There will be three two-hour sessions during the day, starting at 9.30am, 12 noon and 2.30pm.

The event is suitable for children aged 4+ when a parent stays. From the age of 8+ children can be left with our team for the sessions, as long as a full registration form is filled in.

Siblings are welcome to take part.

Tickets are £5 per child (plus booking fee). Tickets for parents who stay during the sessions are free of charge.

Sessions are strictly limited to 20 children each, so early booking is recommended.

Kevin is well-known for his amazing creations using Lego bricks, with recent projects including a series of Tudor-themed models for an exhibition in Bristol and a micro-version of London featuring key landmarks for an IT company’s event.

His workshops for children have included sessions at Reading Museum and Build a Bus days at Broad Street Mall during the February half-term to celebrate the launch of Reading Buses’ purple route 17 bio-gas buses.
