The lunch club offers a monthly opportunity for autistic adults who live in the West Berkshire Council area to meet and chat over a meal, share experiences and ideas, and get advice from our adult autism support team.
It normally meets at the Toby Carvery, in London Road, Newbury and is facilitated by our adult autism support mentor Eleri Booth and an autistic volunteer.
Please note that you will have to pay for your own meal and drinks. Along with traditional carvery fare, vegetarian and vegan options are available.
The club meets monthly on a Tuesday, between noon and 2pm, on the following dates (details of sessions in 2026 will be announced nearer the time):
- September 9 – please note that due to an extended refit at the Toby Carvery, this meeting will take place at The Swan Inn, in London Road, RG14 2DA.
- October 7
- November 11
- December 9
If you would like to attend the Newbury Lunch Club, or have any questions, please email adult.support@autismberkshire.org.uk or call 01189 594 594 (option 2) and leave a voicemail message with your contact details. One of our adult support mentors will get in touch.
- The lunch club is supported by the joint Greenham Trust and West Berkshire Council Let’s Get Mindful fund, which supports projects that enhance the mental health and wellbeing of West Berkshire residents.
