Autism Berkshire’s 2025 Annual General Meeting will be held online on Wednesday, November 19, at 7pm.
As well as offering the chance to hear from the board of trustees and senior managers about our work in 2024-25, the meeting is also an opportunity for members to ask questions and discuss the sorts of support and advice that they may need.
There will also be an update about NHS neurodiversity support for families in Berkshire and Autism Berkshire’s new services for autistic adults.
All members have been sent a mailing about the AGM, including a copy of our 2024-25 Annual Review, details of how to register to attend the meeting and an agenda.
And we are inviting nominations for new trustees to join the board that oversees the charity’s work.
We are particularly keen to hear from people who have a personal commitment to making a difference to the lives of autistic people and their families and the drive and enthusiasm to take the charity forward, including parents/carers of autistic children and young people, autistic adults, and professionals with business skills, management experience and understanding of charities.
Anyone who is interested in becoming a trustee and would like more information about the charity and what the role involves should contact Autism Berkshire’s chief executive officer, Jane Stanford-Beale, for an informal discussion. She can be contacted by email at ceo@autismberkshire.org.uk or call 07795 807249.
Candidates should be able to attend the AGM on November 19, when trustees will be elected.
Please note that all candidates must complete our nomination form, which is available at the link below.
Completed nomination forms must be returned by Friday, November 7, either by email or post.
