Autistic adults can register for free places at four online autism advice workshops from the Berkshire Adult Autism Support Service, taking place on Wednesday evenings in June and July.
The service’s interactive workshops offer information about aspects of autism and tips and strategies to help participants to navigate daily life and social situations, improve their understanding of autism and increase their self-confidence.
There will be a presentation by an Autism Berkshire adult support mentor, plus plenty of time for questions and discussion.
Please note that you must be aged 18+, with an autism diagnosis or waiting for assessment, and be registered as a patient with an NHS GP surgery in Berkshire to attend these workshops.
The workshops available, which will take place online using Zoom on Wednesdays between 6pm and 8pm, are as follows
- Sensory Differences: June 3
- Planning & Organising: June 17
- Anxiety & Autism: July 1
- Understanding Other People: July 15
