This workshop aims to help the parents and carers of autistic and ADHD teenagers (aged 13 to 17) to prepare for and navigate the transition to adulthood and to support their young people with knowledge, skills and confidence.
We are planning to have a guest speaker to talk about supported internships and answer questions at this session – more details to follow.
The workshop is provided by the Berkshire West Autism & ADHD Support Service for the parents and carers of autistic and ADHD teenagers who live in the Berkshire West NHS area (Reading, Wokingham and West Berkshire) whether they have a diagnosis, are waiting for a Berkshire CAMHS assessment, or where autism is suspected, and who are in mainstream education or home-educated and do not have learning disabilities.
