Adults with autism living in Windsor & Maidenhead are being invited to take part in a series of sports activity sessions over the next few weeks.
They will be able to try football, basketball, handball and dodgeball at the sessions, which are being run as part of the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead’s Fit For Life programme to encourage adults and young people to take up regular exercise.
The autism-friendly sessions will take place in the sports hall at the 4 Marlow Road Youth & Community Centre, in Maidenhead town centre, between 6pm and 7pm on Thursday evenings from November 17 to December 15.
The programme is as follows:
- November 17: Handball
- November 24: Dodgeball
- December 1: Basketball
- December 8: Football
- December 15: To be decided by participants
