Join us for live music and fundraising fun at BAS Fest 2017 in Reading on Sunday

BAS Fest, the annual day of fundraising fun in aid of Autism Berkshire at the Nag’s Head pub in Reading, takes place this Sunday, May 28.

BAS Fest 2017 runs from 2pm to 10pm at the pub in Russell Street, off Oxford Road (map), with the usual mix of live music and attractions for all the family, plus a barbecue.

The musical acts are Baroness and The Bear, Damien Passmore and The Loveable Fraudsters, Nicole Allan, Aden Pearce and Dog Day Town.

Children will be able to enjoy a hands-on experience with creatures great and small from Owen’s Animals, plus faceprinting and other activities.

As usual, there is a raffle with some great prizes on offer.

The top prize is a Project Essential 2 Black turntable, donated by Richer Sounds. Other prizes include family days out at Marwell Zoo and the Cotswold Wildlife Park, a £75 meal voucher for Valpy Street Bar and Bistro in Reading and a £50 John Lewis voucher.

Tickets are just £1 each and are available from the Nag’s Head pub and at Autism Berkshire activities taking place today and tomorrow, as well as during BAS Fest. The draw will be made at 6pm.

All the proceeds will go to support Autism Berkshire’s work.

Our thanks to the team at the Nag’s Head for once again staging the event and to the sponsors whose support makes it possible – The Grumpy Goat ale & cheese shop in Reading, Milk Bar in Reading, Screwdriver flat pack assembly service, Uprising Brewery in Windsor and Marwell Zoo.
