Autistic adults can now register for free places at four online autism advice workshops from the Berkshire Adult Autism Support Service, taking place on Tuesday lunchtimes in June and July.
The service’s interactive workshops offer information about aspects of autism and tips and strategies to help participants to navigate daily life and social situations, improve their understanding of autism and increase their self-confidence.
There will be a presentation by an Autism Berkshire adult support mentor, plus time for questions and discussion.
Please note that you must be aged 18+, with an autism diagnosis or waiting for assessment, and be registered as a patient with an NHS GP surgery in Berkshire to take part in these workshops.
The workshops available, which will take place online using Zoom on Tuesdays between 12 noon and 2pm, are as follows
- Sensory Differences: June 10
- Planning & Organising: June 24
- Anxiety & Autism: July 1
- Understanding Other People: July 15
