Co-operative members can help young autistic adults in Bracknell

Co-op members can help us to create a new group to support autistic young adults in the Bracknell Forest area by choosing Autism Berkshire as their good cause for the Co-operative Local Community Fund for the next 12 months.

We are working with the fund to raise money to launch a new group where 18 to 25-year-olds can meet, make connections and get advice from an Autism Berkshire adult support mentor, alongside similar groups we already run in Reading and Slough.

Anyone who is a member of the Co-operative Group can support us by selecting Autism Berkshire as their chosen cause until October 17, 2026.

The more members who back our fundraising appeal, the more money that we will receive from the £5 million fund, which comes from the profits of Co-op businesses, including supermarkets, nurseries and Co-op Funeralcare.

Click here for details of how to support Autism Berkshire if you are already a Co-op member – and for information about how to sign up as a new member and give a boost to our fundraising efforts.

We will also benefit from fundraising by the teams at the Co-op Food shops in Bywood, Falcon Way and Rectory Row in Bracknell and the Bracknell branch of Co-op Funeralcare.

  • Please note that only members of the Co-operative Group can support us through the Local Community Fund. Regional co-operative societies, including Southern Co-operative and Midcounties Co-operative, which both have a number of shops in Berkshire, run separate schemes to support charities.
