A big response to the launch of our new youth group in Wokingham means we are looking for more volunteers to help run the group, so we can meet demand for places.
The first session attracted 10 children and young people aged 8 to 17 and more are registered to attend the next session, which takes place this Saturday, July 16.
As a result, we need extra adults available to help with ball games and other activities, including art and craft, at future sessions.
Extra volunteers at our other youth groups across Berkshire would also be welcome.
If you are interested in helping, our youth groups are:
- Reading Games Club, meeting fortnightly on Saturdays, 2-4pm
- Bracknell CAYP Group, meeting every Friday during school terms, 4.30-6.30pm
- Bracknell Youth Group, meeting fortnightly on Mondays, 4.30-6.30pm
- Slough Youth Group, meeting fortnightly on Saturdays, 2-4pm
- Windsor & Maidenhead Youth Group, meeting fortnightly on Tuesdays, 4.30-6.30pm
- Wokingham Youth Group, meeting fortnightly on Saturdays, 1.15-3.15pm
Please note that volunteers working at our youth groups need to be over 18.
