Volunteers needed to support Autism Awareness Week fundraising collections

Autism Berkshire is finalising details of our activities for Autism Awareness Week 2018 at the end of March and is looking for volunteers to help with two fundraising collections.

We will be carrying out a collection and raising awareness about autism at The Oracle shopping centre in Reading on Thursday, March 22, from noon to 4pm. We need help to cover all the entrances at the Oracle with collecting tins.

And we will also be carrying out a collection when we are joined by our friends from Reading Buses in Broad Street on Monday, March 26, from 11am to 4pm. There will be the chance to see the specially-branded Autism Berkshire double-decker bus, marking our partnership as Reading Buses’ Charity of the Year for 2018.
If you would be able to spare some time, even just an hour or two, to help out by holding a collecting bucket for us during either of these events, please email Sarah Brown at communityfundraising@autismberkshire.org.uk or call Sarah at the Autism Berkshire office on 01189 594 594.
Full details of all our programme of events for Autism Awareness Week around Berkshire will be available soon. This year’s World Autism Awareness Day is on Easter Monday, April 2.
