Autism Berkshire is running a new support service for autistic adults throughout Berkshire on behalf of the Frimley NHS Integrated Care System and the Bucks, Oxon and Berkshire West NHS ICS, and has a vacancy for an Adult Autism Team Leader to head the service.
Knowledge and experience of autism, supporting autistic people and their families, developing networks and managerial roles is essential for this role.
The postholder will lead our team supporting autistic adults who have a diagnosis, or are waiting for assessment, helping them to access health, education, community, and other services in Berkshire.
The role also involves presenting advice workshops, helping to develop new social and activity groups for adults, and networking with local service providers and stakeholders.
